Welcome to the PA 250 Clearfield County History Trail!

We’re thrilled to have you join us in celebrating our rich local heritage.

As you explore each historic location listed in your trail brochure, don’t forget to scan the QR code and complete the form with a time-stamped photo of the monument, structure, or landmark.

Once you’ve visited all the locations and submitted your photos, stop by our office at 208 Plaza Drive - Clearfield, to claim your special PA 250 logo tumbler - complete with custom stickers from each site to decorate it!

Please remember: photos must be your own, no duplicates are allowed, and only one tumbler is awarded per person who completes the full trail.

Clearfield County Liberty Tree

On May 10, 2025 Clearfield County celebrated the planting of the official PA 250 Liberty Tree in Osceola Mills! This historic tree is a direct descendant of the original and symbolic Liberty Tree from Boston. We celebrate our pioneer Revolutionary War patriots who made Clearfield County what it is today!
